The hotel has a nice bed in the room, although the room in the new wing was not as good as expected with an old cupboard, lifting vinyl floor covering, and an outdated bathroom. On the bright side, the small refrigerator is stocked daily with water and soda. The service was typically prompt and excellent during my 5-day stay, although there was some smoke around the pool area. The location is convenient, being next to the historical city center in the middel of downtown, ideal for exploring central Porto Alegre. The dining experience offered a variety of options like fruit, breads, cakes, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, and hot dogs, although it was in the basement, which could be improved. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory with room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, valet parking, and welcome drink available.
